In the last 12 months it has been necessary to let some of my bitches go. Getting imported bitches in has upped my dog numbers and I can not keep everything I would like too. Breeding to me is to improve on what I have already or equal what I have and that is what I strive to do with each mating. I have sold a couple of bitches that I really liked in the last 12 months but have kept bitch pups from both these lines.

Molly Rose of Ohutu. Jessie has been sold to work on a station down country but did returned back to have one litter from Cap. She had a lovely litter of pups by Cap. Jessie has been a bitch that has thrown pups that are way better than I expected. To Astra Sky she threw pups stronger eyed than she was and to Astra Cap her pups had very high drive and also had good eye. The natural heading ability that Jessie and her dam (Rose) had has made for some very good pups and compliment the lines she has being put to. I will be keeping a bitch pup out of a Jessie/Astra Sky bitch put back over Astra Cap, (Ohutu Style to Impress).

Lassie Diamond Lady of Ohutu. Lassie has done lots of different thing in her life but what she liked most was working stock. She has now been sold to a Dairy Farmer. In the last couple of year as well as raising pups she was trained to compete in agility. She has won places in elementary / starters and clear rounds. Lassie is a very nice Border Collie. I have kept Lady a bitch pup of Lassie's and Astra Sky's.

Kaeanda Whisky Rose Whisky has been a joy to own and train. Earlier on it was a challenge to train a bitch that wasn't from working lines but found that with a bit more patience and time I got where I was heading with her and she had such a lovable nature, just wanting to please. The time came (2010) that I had to cut down my number of dogs and re evaluate the direction I wanted to go with breeding. I decided that I wanted to stick to dogs that could work sheep with style and purpose and sadly Whisky was not that way inclined. Very nice for obedience and agility but not a sheep dog. We did have a litter from her to Astra Sky and Erin has kept a nice bitch pup Mist who is keen to work and is looking good for obedience and agility as well.

Kaeanda Shadz N Silva at Ohutu ADXB JD CGC Gold Pearl is a lovely bitch and was always only going to have just the one litter and then be spayed so there is not interruptions to her competing in agility ect. Annette picked Lad as the sire of the pups and is going to keep the 2 bitch pups (Razz & Breeze) to train, mainly for agility. She has had a nice litter and will be nice to see them regularly as they grow up and in the future start competing.

OHUTU JOY MORNING STAR Star is a very nice bitch. Has great work ethics on sheep and will also work cattle. I breed her from Jill and used her for a litter because she has so many good points and is not as independent and determined as Jill, making working her a lot easier. She has produced a great litter of pups and I have kept a bitch pup  Gay.

KIRKINRIOLA OF BROXA ADX JD (SIOUX) Sioux has been a main working bitch for a few years now and has produced 3 litters of pups. She didn't hold in pup this last time and I will not be breeding from her again as she would be coming up 8 years old. I still have Fern, Tess & Queen from her lines. Sioux has been an all round bitch and a great bitch to train. Very good sheep dog and after training her for agility, gained her Agility Dog Excellence title and Jumpers Dog title. Tess will take over from Sioux on the lambing beat and Queen will be coming up as well.

ASTRA SKI Ski has been a bitch that I have used for breeding jointly with Jenna McCabe, who owns her. She is a full litter sister to Astra Bob. Ski works her sheep from a distance and covers the sides well, a natural heading dog. I have always like Ski and are very happy with the dog pup Skip I have kept from Ski and Astra Cap's litter. Cyril is also happy with the bitch he has Nell. We have had a litter from Ski and Cruz Aimin For Mars of Ohutu. Blue Merle Bitch Swift, Blue Merle Tri Dog Deal and Tri-colour Dog Ace.
