HEADING DOGS
Kaiwaka heading course is run by Otamatea club and the huntaway tux yard dog is run by Molesworth club. The heading course is 5 obstacles to negotiate. Gap, then bridge, down to the corner gap, through the small gate and then the pen. The course time is 10 minute from when the sheep are let out. Judging starts when the sheep past through the first gates. The sheep where well worked so gave even beginners a good chance to work their way around.
